We are proud to announce the launch of the Transgender Resource Initiative, a new program from The Mosaic Project of South Texas dedicated to providing affirming, gender-affirmation supplies to our local transgender community. This initiative is rooted in our belief that everyone deserves access to tools that support their identity, safety, and self-expression—regardless of financial means.

Through this program, we are offering a range of resources, including:

Binders – Compression garments designed to help flatten the chest and provide a more masculine or androgynous appearance.

Binding Tape – A flexible, breathable alternative to binders, ideal for certain outfits or body types.

Packers – Prosthetic devices that create the appearance of a bulge, supporting transmasculine individuals in feeling more affirmed in their presentation.

Breast Forms – Silicone or foam inserts that simulate the shape and feel of breasts, available for transfeminine individuals seeking gender-affirming support.

Starter Makeup Kits – A curated selection of makeup essentials designed to empower exploration of gender expression with confidence and support.
These resources are available free of charge to eligible individuals in our community. We know that access to these items can significantly enhance quality of life, reduce dysphoria, and promote mental wellness.

Transgender individuals—especially youth and those from low-income or marginalized backgrounds—often face barriers to accessing even the most basic gender-affirming tools. By launching this initiative, The Mosaic Project of South Texas is working to remove those barriers and support individuals on their journeys of self-discovery and expression.
